Not every journey towards the Armed Forces begins with clarity.
Some begin with confusion, self-doubt, and the slow realisation that life demands more from you. For Adarsh, a young boy from Silchar, Assam, the journey wasn’t about chasing a childhood plan—it was about finding purpose.

“SSB is not about becoming someone new. It’s about refining who you already are.”
When Comfort Meets Reality
Adarsh did his schooling in Silchar and later moved to Bangalore to pursue BMS from JN University.
Until then, life had been comfortable. Protected. Familiar.
But moving away from home changes things.
Living alone in a new city made him see realities he had never faced before—handling responsibilities, managing expenses, and understanding the sacrifices his family had made for him.
That’s when one thought became constant:
“I need to do something meaningful. Something I truly respect.”
Defence had always appealed to him—not just as a profession, but as a way of life.
The Decision: No Half Measures
Adarsh decided to appear for CDS (OTA), his first serious attempt at SSB.
With no prior SSB exposure, he didn’t want to take chances. He joined an offline coaching institute for 30 days to understand the procedure.
The basics were clear, but something was missing.
The guidance felt generic.
The mentorship wasn’t personalised.
And Aman knew, SSB doesn’t reward generic preparation.
Searching for Something More Personal
Determined to leave no stone unturned, Adarsh began exploring SSB preparation channels on Telegram.
That’s when he came across R2R.
What caught his attention wasn’t marketing,it was focus.
For Adarsh, that said one thing—specialisation.
He enrolled in all four R2R courses.
Adarsh believes that personalised mentorship is non-negotiable for SSB.
Because every candidate is different.
Different upbringing
Different strengths
Different experiences
Different personality
SSB isn’t about fitting into a mould, it’s about standing out authentically.
And that’s exactly what the R2R approach helped him do.
One thing Aman noticed across all R2R faculty—
Shashank sir, Neha ma’am, Sachin sir, Arpit sir, and Anshika ma’am—was a common approach. They never jumped straight into techniques. They always started with:
That framework didn’t just help in SSB preparation—it helped him deal with life better.
believes that personalised mentorship is non-negotiable for SSB.
Adarsh openly says that aspirants will face:
Adarsh thought he was good at interviews.
Previous coachings had praised him.
His confidence was high.
Then came feedback from Anshika ma’am:
“Theek hai… but abhi bhi candidate banna baaki hai.”
That one line changed his mindset.
For the first time, he realised improvement was still possible.
He noted every feedback point, introspected deeply, and worked on them one by one.
The difference showed clearly : in his responses, his composure, and his clarity during the actual SSB interview.
While Adarsh was already prepared for GTO,R2R helped him refine, structure, and polish his performance. Not drastic changes, just the kind that add glitter and sometimes, that’s what makes all the difference.
Adarsh cleared CDS OTA SSB in his very first attempt. Not because he was extraordinary. But because he chose:
